Closing Thoughts
The following is an excerpt from "Walking With Christ Every Day."
John 15:11 - I have spoken these things to you so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.
"Teaching should be a joyful experience, but every teacher knows that some days are so busy and so hurried that abundance seems a distant promise. It is not. Every day, we can claim the spiritual abundance and joy that God promises for our lives . . . C.H. Spurgeon, the renowned 19th century English clergymen, advised, 'Rejoicing is clearly a spiritual command. To ignore it...is disobedience.'  As Christians, we are called by our Creator to live life abundantly, prayerfully, and joyfully. To do otherwise is to squander His spiritual gifts. If, today, your heart is heavy, open the door of your soul to the Father and to His only begotten Son. Christ offers you His peace and His joy. Accept it and share it freely, just as Christ has freely shared His joy with you."
