SMSTA/SASCD/KDP The students met this week and had the pleasure of hearing from our very own Dr. Pam Stanfield. Dr. Stanfield spoke on the "Children I Have Loved, Lessons I Have Learned", inspired by her published book. Students enjoyed the presentation and were eager to participate and ask questions after the presentation. This group of main campus students is gaining momentum. Campus Labs - Accreditation Module Tonia Crane, Alicia Noddings, Jeremy Ruckstaetter, Nancy Sickler and I participated in a conference call training session with Emily Rose Barry, our Campus Labs representative. As the Counseling Program is pursuing CACREP accreditation and the Education Division is preparing for our Spring 2018 CAEP accreditation visit, we will be leaning heavily on the Campus Labs Compliance Assist Module for data collection and documentation. This module will also help us with so much more than data collection, it will allow us to understand the data to help us make informed decisions about our division, programs, and courses for continuous improvement. You will all be playing a role in these important accreditation visits and the work needed to prepare the self-studies. Baby Girl Rauscher has arrived! Congratulations to Laura and her husband on the safe arrival of their beautiful baby girl, Monaghyn Rayne Rauscher. She was born on Tuesday at 3:44pm weighing 9 lb 8 oz and 21 1/4 inches in length. We praise God for this beautiful life!
