Student Evaluations If you teach a Spring 1st 8-week class, please, please, please encourage your students to complete the student evaluations on your class. Perhaps you can allow them class time to take the survey on their own device or take the students to a computer lab. The information gathered from these course evaluations is more meaningful if all (or a majority) of the students complete the evals. New Team Member I am excited to announce that the search committee has unanimously agreed on Michelle Einig as our Administrative Assistant to the Counseling Department. Michelle will be joining our team on Monday, February 13th. Please stop by her office and welcome her to MBU! Library Research Guides Rebekah McKinney, cataloging specialist in the MBU library, is creating Research Guides for different subject areas. She has completed and published one for Education and one for Special Education on the Library's Research Guide Page . If you are interested in adding to these or creating others, please don't hesitate to contact the library. Rebekah is more than happy to work with you. And please share this with your students!! Faculty Meeting On Tuesday, February 7 the faculty met to discuss several items and the staff was invited to hear about the new Commissioning Service that will be held this year on May 1 for our students.  More information to come. MMEA Conference Jordan Cox, MBU's Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities, sent me the following pictures and narrative from the MMEA (Missouri Music Educators Association) Conference. Several of the students below are music education majors. MMEA is a tremendous conference for our future music educators to attend each year. Students had an excellent conference, learned a lot, and interacted with some of the leading educators in our field, along with many alumni who are currently teaching in Missouri!
