CAEP Update - Prayer Meeting
The time has almost come!!!! The team will begin arriving next Saturday. To prepare our hearts and lift up our prayers and petitions to God regarding this visit, I would like to invite you to a time of prayer between 12:40pm and 12:50pm this Wednesday, February 21st in the chapel. This Wednesday is our Faculty/Staff Inservice, so if you are able, please join us as you finish your lunch. All are welcome!

Professional Development
The Education faculty met on Tuesday, February 13 to learn about Foundational Practices presented by Brooke Prickett and DeAun Blumburg from EdPlus. It was a very informative session and I urge you to attend our next session which will be on March 20 entitled Connecting with Students. Click here to see Brooke and DeAun's PowerPoint.

For those of you that attended the session, click here to take the post-assessment and click here to take the Feedback Survey.

METC Conference
The Midwest Education Technology Community Conference was held February 12-14 at the St. Charles Convention Center. This is the first year that MBU has had a booth. It was an amazing experience and we talked to several prospective students. Thanks to Grace Green, Michael Broombaugh, and Diana Dell for helping recruit future Spartans! And way to go, Brittany Sansigraw, for putting together such a good looking exhibit space!

Dr. Diana Dell's presentations were standing room only. Current student, Scott Shepard, is in the front row with his thumb up and former student, Christine Keating, is two seats behind him in the red sweater and black shirt with white hearts. Christine teaches 3rd grade in Parkway and Scott teaches middle school at Northwest.

Upcoming Meetings
CAEP Visit: February 24 - February 27, 2018
Education Faculty Meeting: March 20, 2018 at 10:15 a.m. in FLD 115

Closing Thoughts
Please be in prayer for our upcoming CAEP visit. I am looking forward to our collective time of prayer on Wednesday - see above for more information. Psalms 145:18 says, The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. As we prepare the logistics of the visit, we must not get so caught up in the busyness, that we forget to give it all to God. Please add our team members to your prayer list this week: Dr. Linda Griffin, Dr. Margaret Christen, Dr. Margo DelliCarpini, Ms. Rebekah Harris, Dr. Stephen Mitchell, Dr. Suzanne Hull, Dr. Glenn Brown, and Dr. Daniel Hellman.
