Student Evaluations
If you teach a Spring 1st 8-week class, please, please, please encourage your students to complete the student evaluations on your class. Perhaps you can allow them class time to take the survey on their own device or take the students to a computer lab. The information gathered from these course evaluations is more meaningful if all (or a majority) of the students complete the evals.

Closing Thoughts
Everyone is Needed
I was recently reading in God's Words of Life for Leaders from the NIV Bible about systems and synergy. I was encouraged by the following excerpt on page 180, "Even though Christ's body is comprised of many members, it is still one body. And even though that body encompasses great diversity, every member is equally a part...He(Paul) wanted to ensure that every follower of Christ feel important, and be assured that his or her contribution is crucial. While we may wish that we were different, the bottom line is that God created each of us just as he wanted us to be and calls upon each of us to faithfully serve according to our unique calling."

As the leader of this division, I need you to know that I view every member of our team as a crucial part of the system. I am hopeful that by learning your spiritual gift it will help you discover your role in our team and as we share that information with each other, it may help us all understand how we contribute to God's plan for our division.

Adjuncts, I have encouraged our full-time education division faculty to take a spiritual gifts survey and we will discuss the outcome at our division faculty meeting Tuesday morning. As always, you are welcome to attend. You are also a crucial part of our team. Feel free to take the spiritual gifts survey and share your results with us, if so desired. Spiritual Gifts Test

Ecclesiastes 4:12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Let's bind ourselves together into a cord of many strands so that we are not overpowered. I have big plans for our division and I can't wait to see how God guides our steps, but it is going to take the entire team. I look forward to learning about your gifts so we can use all of these gifts and talents to fulfill God's plan.
